BANJO`S FRENCH TRIP

Mister Banjo bids to make the first repayment on his big purchase price in the Prix Renaud du Vivier over hurdles at Auteuil in Paris on Sunday.

Bought by John Hales for a record 240,000 guineas at Doncaster in May, the gelding will be having his first run for trainer Paul Nicholls in the big four-year-old event.

Adrian Maguire`s mount, three times a winner from four starts with Nicky Henderson last term, faces 12 rivals in the extended two-and-a-half-mile contest, with Domloula, Gun`N`Roses and Ty Benjam the main local hopes.
